Synopsis:

Jang Cheon-woon was the son of a third-rate martial artist. After losing his father, he lived as a member of a local gang, barely scraping by.

One day, he happens to rescue an old martial artist named Mu, who is on the verge of death by the riverside.

While living with the old man, Cheon-woon begins learning martial arts and training through mysterious lessons that come to him in his dreams. Eventually, his talent catches the attention of the chief escort of Gucheon Fortress, and he enters Gangryeon Valley with the goal of becoming the personal bodyguard of the Young Lord.

Years pass, and Cheon-woon grows into a capable bodyguard. He finally becomes the Young Lord’s personal protector.

However, turmoil begins to brew within Gucheon Fortress as factions plot to seize the position of Fortress Lord.

As the Young Lord’s bodyguard, Cheon-woon finds himself dragged into the very heart of the conspiracy…
